We spent the day at the park trying out Macey's new bike.  
She had more fun playing with Mitchell.

September 29

My little Macey is five!  It seems like only yesterday that she looked like this.

She opted for a family party this year "as long as we do something really fun".  We're going on a little trip this weekend.  We'll be sure to make it fun.

    

These were her favorite presents; a scripture case and candy from Grandma and Grandpa in Hong Kong, a frame and some $ from Grammy and Grandpa in Malaysia, and a bike from us.

She wanted everyone one to eat "Macey pancakes" this morning.  And she loved Skypeing with Grammy and Grandpa tonight.  She had a fun day!

Today was the awards ceremony for the Summer Reading Program at Sawyer's school.  
He won third place in his class which meant he got ten dollars.  Can you tell he's pretty excited?

Brothers teach you all the most important things.

He lost another tooth!  Now we keep tricking him into saying phrases with lots of S's.  It's funny.

It's interesting to note that he lost both of his front teeth while wrestling with cousins or friends.  
Battle wounds.

September 25

Macey has been waiting for this day for A YEAR.  Today they sang the birthday song to her in primary.  She felt very special.  I guess that's the point.

September 24

Today we had a Stake Women's Conference.  There were many wonderful classes offered.  
(My favorites were Couponing 101 and Handling Toddler Tantrums.)  

Then we had dinner, and watched the General Relief Society Conference broadcast.  
It was wonderful.  Sister Beck is my idol.  And President Uchtdorf's talk was just what I needed.

Once a month our date night is to the temple.  I love it there.  I come out feeling grateful, peaceful and motivated.  Then we go to Cold Stone.  It's the perfect date.

Today Sawyer had his very first spelling test.  He got 100%.  He was so thrilled.

My kids got these Bucky Balls from Grammy Smith.  They're very strong magnet balls, and they're so much fun.  For two weeks, they've kept my kids entertained and silent in church.
