August 31

This is Mitchell's new look.  We see it a lot.  
It usually means "Uh oh, I broke something", or "Ooo, that was neat", or
"Look, I just grabbed 5 sugar packets!".

August 30

Poor Skyler is always ALWAYS hungry.  
He eats about 6 large meals a day.  
Bagel bites are a staple.

August 29

Elementary school started today.  Sawyer is in 1st grade, and Macey is in preschool.  
They were both extremely excited this morning - mostly about their new shoes and bags.

August 28

Today we drove home.  
It was SO sad to say good-bye to my parents... almost worse than the first time.  :(

But we did see this on the way home.  That cheered us up a little.

Today my baby sister, McKenzie, married her amazing fiance Matt.  
They got married in a beautiful, quiet ceremony at my uncle's home.  
It was incredible -  just like they are.

The kids swam all day long.  I got to sit by the pool and talk to my sisters - heaven.

The kids tried to spell Heiner for Grandma and Grandpa.  :)

Today my baby brother, Blake, married his sweet Emily.  The wedding was this morning in the Salt Lake temple.  The luncheon was this afternoon in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.  
The reception was tonight in Salt Lake.  
Long, fun day.  We're so happy for them!

Today the kids and I went to the Children's Museum.  We love it there.

Tonight we had a big family BBQ, but I was way too busy eating to take any pictures.

August 23

And YES that was my mom in the last picture!!!  
She and my dad were able to come home from their missions for a week.  YIPPEEE!

Today we just played with our relatives.  It was wonderful.

August 22

 Today Skyler and Shaylin started school.  They were both very excited - though only Shaylin would admit it.

After the big kids left for school, the little kids and I drove to Utah.  Tonight was a big family wedding shower for Blake (my brother) and Emily, and Matt and McKenzie (my sister), who are BOTH getting married this week!
