We're going to stay in Utah this week and play. We're living in my sister's huge, empty basement apartment. It's wonderful.
Today we had a family BBQ. My three sisters all live in the same neighborhood, but they promised me that they never do anything fun like this together, unless I'm in town. :)
Today we drove up to Utah to celebrate my grandpa's 80th birthday.
We had a big party with pools, water slides, food and lots of family.
My sweet grandpa said, "This has to be the best party that anyone has ever had."
I'm painting the basement. Macey really wanted to help. I really didn't want Macey to help. So I gave her a little paint and asked her to go paint rocks in our field.
She painted this on the backporch instead.
I love it. I'm never washing it off.
Mitchell learned to say "cheese" every time he sees my camera.
We took Skyler to the allergist today. The doctor tested him for all trees, weeds and grasses. He's allergic to ALL of them. Poor kid.
We felt pretty bad for making him work in the yard all summer with our trees, weeds and grasses.
P.S. Don't you think his hair looks like the kid on his shirt?
On Tuesdays our theater (yes that was singular) has free kid's movies. They're fun.
We may only have one theater in town, but they let you bring in Cold Stone ice cream. :)
We took home some yummy leftovers from Lake Powell.
Sawyer's favorite is the whipped cream. He's putting it on everything.
This, for example, is a whipped cream sandwich.
Some times a long Sunday walk is just the thing to take away post-vacation blues.
We played a lot on the boat too - cards, crafts and games until late every night.
Jason was the captain this year. He did GREAT.
We played on the beach and made enough mud pies to feed a small country.
