Macey loves the Fireside Girls from the show Phineas and Ferb. Today she and Shaylin pulled out an old Boy Scout sash, and Shaylin is helping Macey earn "patches". Some of the patches are great, like the be-cheerful-all-day-patch and the feed-the-dog-patch. Others are a little sketchy, like the clean-Shaylin's-room-patch. Hmm.

Sawyer rides his four-wheeler and his go-cart every day. His favorite friends are the ones that are allowed to ride when they’re here. They drive all over our property yelling to each other, “Did you see how high I jumped?!” and “Man, I almost hit a prairie dog!” I watch them out the window and try not worry.

Mitchell got a terrible virus today. By evening his fever was 105. By 10 p.m., he was in the E.R. Scary. Now he's home and his fever is hovering at about 104. He's miserable, and we're worried.

This morning I dropped Shaylin off at a three-day volleyball day camp. She was the youngest one there. She was very nervous, but she stayed and did great. Afterwards she said, "When I started camp I was horrible, but by the end I was totally mediocre!"

After going to church and to Denny's, we said good-bye to Grammy and Grandpa.

We met my sweet in-laws in Moab for the weekend. This will be our last chance to play with them before they leave on their mission to Malaysia.
We swam, window shopped, ate yummy food and took a boat tour of the Colorado River. The kids loved the funny tour guide and the light and sound show.

This week Park Days was at the Smith's pond. There must have been 80 people there!
It was quite the party.
