January 30

Today we're trying to recuperate from all that FUN.

January 29

Today we said good-bye and flew home.  :(  I'm so blue.  I've never been so sad to come home from a vacation.   I already miss my family.

January 28

Today the lines for the rides got long, so we hit all the shows and shopped for souvenirs.

We had fun in Toon Town.  My kids are hams!  They must get that from their dad.  

Skyler won the ugliest glasses contest (very prestigious) and we completely wore our kids out.  We're all exhausted... but so happy.

January 27

We went back to Disneyland today.  We hit all the rides we'd missed so far, and then went on our favorites over and over.  Macey's favorite is Space Mountain.  She's not afraid of anything.

Look at my cute parents.  I love them.  

And look at Jason's hat.  He loves it.  I love how it helps me find him in a crowd.  Although I did follow a tall lady with a perm for five minutes today before I realized it wasn't him.

My SIL, Laura, made us have ugliest face contests on every ride with a camera.  (She also organized the ugly glasses contest.  She makes everything more fun.)  And tonight we went to the World of Color show.  It was amazing!

January 26

Today was our beach day.  We laid out and played in the freezing cold ocean.

We built huge sandcastles, and the boys caught seagulls.

Little Mitchell touched the ocean for the first time, and the kids played and explored until the sun went down.  It was a beautiful day.

January 25

This is the fun sandcastle room in our hotel.  It plays Disney movies 24 hours-a-day.   And do you like our matching Perry shirts?  We may have looked stupid, but they sure helped us find each other.

The little cousins were in the Green Army Men show, which was hilarious.  And Winnie-the-Pooh spent about five minutes playing with Mitchell.  Adorable.

The older kids ran around on their own all day long.  They went on the big, scary rides until they were sick.  They were in heaven!

January 24

We went to Disneyland today!!!  

My parents gave all of us this trip for Christmas.  We had so much fun - perfect weather, no lines, awesome rides.  

(And if you think I can limit myself to one picture-a-day at Disneyland, you're nuts.)

 

We were having an ugliest glasses contest in this picture.  We're not really this dorky.  And Sawyer was in the Star Wars show.  He fought and defeated Darth Vader.

While the "tweens" and the dads went on all the big rides, these five little cousins went on all the little rides over and over.  They also met all the princesses together.  It was so sweet, it made me teary.

They had so much fun, especially with grandma.

January 23

He learned to clap today!  He really does it.  He makes noise and everything.  We are all ridiculously excited about this.

This weekend was the Klondike.  That is a scout camp IN THE SNOW.  The boys sleep in tents, race sleds, have competitions, and (miraculously) have a fabulous time.
