October 30

   

This morning we went trick-or-treating to all the business on main street, then to all the departments in Walmart and the Rec Center.  It was warm, and sunny and beautiful.

Tonight was our friend's annual Halloween party.  It's so fun, and costumes are REQUIRED.  This Mad Hatter below is Skyler's principal.  Sky is saving this picture for future black mail if he ever gets detention.    

  

October 29

Tonight was our church Halloween Party.  We had a chili dinner, a costume parade and then trunk-or-treating.  

I included a picture of the Miller's trunk because they gave out cans of pop and full-size bags of chips (extras from his work).  It was so funny to watch the kids walk away from their car staring, wide-eyed, at the pop and chip in their bags.

    

October 28

Today the kids had their Halloween parade and parties at school.  This is Sawyer trying to play Halloween Bingo with his Wolverine claws.  

Then the student council put on a Halloween carnival that was so much fun.  Shaylin painted faces, while the kids spent their tickets playing games.

      

October 27

We carved pumpkins tonight.  It really grossed him out.  I thought he might vomit.

The rest of us had fun.

    

October 26

Sawyer wrote his first sentence today.  We're so proud.

October 25

   

Today Mitchell got his first hair cut.  He was getting a little poofy on top.  He looks darling now, but older.  :(

P.S.  He's not eating a whole Oreo (though I wouldn't put it past him).  That's my lens cap.

October 24

This morning I said good-bye to my mom and sisters.  So sad.  I can't wait until next year's Girl's Weekend.

I made it home just in time for Skyler's Court of Honor.  He got seven merit badges and two advances.  He's awesome.

October 23

Today we went to a chick flick, a hypnotist's show, and The Pumpkin Walk.  We had such a fun day.

October 22

This morning we all went to the gym together, which was a good thing because we spent the rest of the day eating.  We talked, and laughed, and shopped 'til we dropped.
