Today we went to a fun BUG birthday party.  Aren't their antennas cute?  Afterwards we all swam at the rec center until someone pooped in the pool, and they closed it down.  Lovely.

We finished Sawyer's room today!  Isn't it fun?  Can you put the room together in your mind with these pictures?  And yes, that is an 8 foot by 11 foot four-wheeler mural on his wall.  He's so happy.

January 28

Sawyer loves baths.  He spends hours playing in the water.  It's the only time he ever likes to play alone.  Today he's figured out how to blast action figures out of the jacuzzi jets.

Every morning Shaylin and I practice her multiplication and division tables on the way to school.  She says it warms her brain up for school.  I love looking over at her smiling face - calculating.

It was Sawyer's night to clear and clean the table.

My three year old can beat me at Nintendo now.  Three years old.  Is she brilliant or am I just stupid?

It was such a pain to bottle all this fruit this year, but it makes me so happy to have it now.  Sometimes I go downstairs just to look at it.

My sweet husband does the bed time routine around here.  By 7:30 I am tapped out.  I'm so grateful that he wants this time alone with the younger kids, because he can have it!  :)  I'm happy to just sit and read my book by my big kids while they do their reading time.
