I'm finally starting to put away Christmas.
Today, I remembered, and wanted to share, the sweet gifts that our children gave us this year.
For Jason - The kids each memorized a scripture that reminds them of their dad. On Christmas morning, they recited their scriptures to Jason and told him why those verses make them think of him. Very sweet. Lots of tears.
For me - (A little background). When I was growing up my mom had a beautiful china cabinet.
I loved it because she kept her greatest treasures in it - gifts and artwork from us.
I recently got my own china cabinet and have been filling it with precious gifts my children have made for me over the years.
For Christmas, they made me some new artwork to display in my "treasure cabinet".

Shaylin drew our crazy family. Sawyer drew our family in the temple.

Macey drew our family with baby Jesus.
And Skyler made me an imprint of his bum. Yup. His bum.
He said, "If you look really close you can even see some butt hairs".
My mom had nothing like this.
